Scott Lord: webcam video July 4, 2011 Boston Skyline from Donna's Cambr...

In the shower Donna asked me if I would ask her to marry me. I said that I could. I asked do you want me to ask you. She said. "Yes".

While I'm writing this she said, "I was happy and that's all that's all I know." We watched the celebration from her terrace, which is like a penthouse and commands a view of the entire city of Boston from this side of the river, but not the river itself.
"Did you write something like that, that the fireworks were a celebration of our engagement?"- its late at night, but I'm hanging on her every word as we get ready to go bed.

Donna brought me to another movie, I took her to dinner.

Actually, one shower together brought us together and cleared everything between us. For the most part it did. She brought me to a film at the Harvard Square Theater and I took her to dinner again, egg foo young for her and things with shrimp for me.
There was a night of passion and then a night of just holding each other.
We missed church and stayed in bed all morning, which she liked. She was beautiful to look at while making love during the late morning. She was laughing about out having stayed in most of the afternoon. When she asked me what I wanted for my birthday I kept saying tuna, rice and cheese soup, which we made together tonight. I had picked up two of her new dresses for her from the tailor before coming.
The shower together was a conversation about whether we could or could ever marry. I've decided to let things happen and possibly not discuss it as often as a prerequisite of our being together, but also to let things happen.
She had to see a doctor and when we got there the clinic was closed, so I might return to a seriousness; serious things can happen at any time, therefore we can be together if I'm aware of that. She brought me to coffee again.
I need her body, but it is because its hers. She continually says that she can't sleep without me and it is becoming that I need her at night. She can be cute when we're on the same pillow and she seems to think its ok if our faces near to being almost together for as long as you would think they possibly could. She likes it when I touch her hair. But its gotten to her saying, "That felt good."
I'm now 49 and I'm with someone again, I'm no longer alone; she actully said, "I'm available to be with you every night."

Am I officially engaged? Donna took me a movie and lunch, hand in hand through more of Cambridge

Its becoming a summer where Donna and I are walking hand in hand through new sections of the same old Cambridge everyday. Last night we walked through a section well known to both of us. Today through a side street near MIT that I hadn't really seen before and then down Massachusetts Avenue.
She took me to the film Beginners at the same theater where we saw Tree Of Life together. The trailers reminded me to look for Fassbinder, but is it possible he's made a new film? It was a film I enjoyed more than I thought I would and one that you could double feature with Tree of Life, but not from necessity.
It is in fact a film about a couple in love or falling in love. I would want to look at the camerawork again, but there was some that was artistic; the cutting wasn't rapid but some shots were well designed for being as brief as they were.

We have an old saying, "You get something too." The suprise could be that we have an evening planned and that for my birthday she will be getting ring for a present. She mentioned that she would like one. Larger secret, she was discussing ourn living together with her parents.

Donna bought me dinner, singing early morning

Donna was singing this morning as we got dressed. She bought me dinner last night.
We watched the film in bed, she liked it. I was very honored to watch it with someone, especially her, in that I had seen it alone during the last year becuase it was filmed on location in Cambridge decades ago and I recognize the streets, but wouldn't know where all of the are. They key to the plotline really is that she says, "Its not your fault." after she has already said "Love means never having to say you're sorry." The poem used during the write your own vows wedding ceremony that she reads is nice, but I can't think of how she as a character wrote it- its actually more British than Harvard and i would question if there is an Anne Bradstreet influence in its lines but Holmes and Longfellow weren't particularly love poets and the poetic stanza differs. There is a volume of Millay here and I might look for it in regard to the poetic image, but not the poetic languange. During the film I continually wanted to her recognize Harvard 1970 and she replied, "I didn't know we lived near something so famous.", so I said, "Oh thanks alot, Princeton the town or Cambridge the city. Beat Yale."
And she said, "Princeton the town of course."
We went to buy spoons before the film and she brought me to coffee at "our table". I left her a message thanking her for dinner, "You're a superfantastic girlfriend, please have the impression that you are."
She was singing this morning, but it was mostly spent getting dressed in a hurry- toothpaste, lipstick.
The slacks she had alterered are the tightest petite you have ever seen and the dress she had on looks like it was worn on Laugh-In, like Mod, with a horizontal line of pink, red concentric circles.
Hang tight, she's on the phone right now.
