Date with Donna tomorrow- went to be late last night

I asked Donna if we had a date tomorrow and she said yes, actually we live together (if not on paper, it could be soon). We went to bed around midnight; I "tucked her in" in a way, and by the time I had a cigarette it was two in the morning. She exclaimed during our conversation or lack of it, "You are good in bed." in that if she were to say, "I may have orgasmed." she has the feeling that it is in resolution, whereas I signal that it is more the beginning than end, and that it is only a sign of plateau. I "countered" after softly with "You are an attractive woman." and she said "Thank You"

I did in fact say hello and "bless you" to one of "The Cambridge Poets" yesterday; she mentioned "emotional difficulties" nicely, meaning that she was glad to say hello to me but was on her way and I said, "Poetry can confront those." Donna and I passed the Longefellow House down Brattle, so after making love I mentioned that all this time we've been going the long way around and it could very well be in walking distance from Radcliffe if you go to Cambridge Common. "It isn't open is it?" We had had wanted to go all summer and kept riding past it on the bus.

I'll look for a present for her tommorow morning.

For Donna, Song-poem from a coffee shop

After we made love early, I played this song for Donna while cleaning up and before going back to bed. I mentioned that it was "a poem", apparently from Albert Hammond who wrote my anthem It Never Rains in California.
They never play it on the radio in Boston any more; I think they ruined soft rock in Boston, but..... I'm in the same coffee shop where I heard it waiting for her and their playing Diamond Girl by Seals and Crofts, which is more than acceptable.
Were i to write alot of poetry, this one would be on the same shelf.

"Romantic Morning to You, Nancy Drew"

Every morning I've said, "Good Morning, I Love You", this morning, because we were awake very late last night making love, I said, "Romantic Morning to to You" I thought I'd try; being lovers is treating the other with politeness; just remain polite and everything else follows.
She was in fact tired and in a hurry, but we again didn't know that we would be making love untill it was the middle of the night.

When she was at college for art history she wanted to take more journalism- apparently it was People Magazine at that time, whereas I had submitted poetry that year to The Atlantic Monthly, my first and only "rejection slip" in 1978-9, although I also was sent of copy of a first edition by the author and got a merry christmas letter from Updike- its more disastrous that we had an artist-in-residence program that went nowhere while she was there. I happened to find a movie that would explain it.

Donna gave me all six Inner Sanctum films

Every night I listen to one, if not two, radio mysteries (Old Time Radio) and since October have heard most of the New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and quite a number of episodes from The Shadow with Orson Welles, but I've been waiting to make it The CBS Radio Mystery Theater. I have not heard that many of the Inner Sanctum radio shows, on which the CBS Mystery Theater was based.

Donna gave me a copy of the Son of Dracula, with Lon Chaney, for Christmas, but Chaney made six films based on the Inner Sanctum radio show and used the Glamour model (pin-up) actresses of Universal, including Evelyn Ankers (pearl of Death,Voice of Terror), Patricia Morrison (Dressed to Kill), Ramsey Ames (The Mummy's Ghost) and Anne Gwynn (House of Dracula).
I like Chaney in the role, without make up.
The writing is superb and from William Scott Darling!

I told Donna that I have waited since 1972-73, 75 at the nearest, to see the films and gave her largest than you.
I watched the films Calling Dr. Death and Weird Woman before listening to the radio version of Till Death Do Us Part, which advertises that Boris Karloff would be included in the cast of next week's show.

Having coffee in Boston-Donna is in a class; "Good Morning, I love you"

Last night while we were making love, (I was alternating kissing her below the waist with my speaking to her), I said, almost wildly, "My beautiful girlfriend, oh, my, beautiful girlfriend", with the sound that it was heaven for us to be back in bed together, and she said, "That's finance, I was going to tell you." Why I note it is also that there would be paragraphs in my novel about my devout resolve not to say a word during love making, especially while nearing its conclusion (resolution).
She is presently in a class on a not too cold January morning, and despite my being in the middle of the city, I almost look like I took my shower at 2:00 am and had to hurry this morning. To reiterate, my laptop doesn't require wifi and its early to begin surfing the internet from a coffee shop across the river.
Note that being clear about why she is taking the class might provide insight into who she is, and consequently who she is while we are a couple; there's often a valuable moment to reflect available.

Donna took me to another movie, I brought her breakfast

To begin the year, Donna felt like going to New Years Eve, but due to the cold and the crowded subway on the holiday, we went to one in Cambridge, rather than Boston. Movies we go to I never review: there are three presently on the marquee now playing that we have seen together. She's a petite; I bought her a red wool zippered jacket for the holiday.
Another movie together: I usually tell her I love her during the middle of the film. The movies we saw during 2011 included:

Bad Teacher
Martha Macy May
Beginners
Tree of Life
Horrible Bosses
My Week With Marilyn
Young Adult
Friends with Benefits

ok: they are the movies she wants to see, (whenever she feels like one), not necessarily the ones I would in any way be involved with personally.
Rhetorically- that they are seen for fun and romance is enough?
