For Donna, Song-poem from a coffee shop

After we made love early, I played this song for Donna while cleaning up and before going back to bed. I mentioned that it was "a poem", apparently from Albert Hammond who wrote my anthem It Never Rains in California.
They never play it on the radio in Boston any more; I think they ruined soft rock in Boston, but..... I'm in the same coffee shop where I heard it waiting for her and their playing Diamond Girl by Seals and Crofts, which is more than acceptable.
Were i to write alot of poetry, this one would be on the same shelf.

"Romantic Morning to You, Nancy Drew"

Every morning I've said, "Good Morning, I Love You", this morning, because we were awake very late last night making love, I said, "Romantic Morning to to You" I thought I'd try; being lovers is treating the other with politeness; just remain polite and everything else follows.
She was in fact tired and in a hurry, but we again didn't know that we would be making love untill it was the middle of the night.

When she was at college for art history she wanted to take more journalism- apparently it was People Magazine at that time, whereas I had submitted poetry that year to The Atlantic Monthly, my first and only "rejection slip" in 1978-9, although I also was sent of copy of a first edition by the author and got a merry christmas letter from Updike- its more disastrous that we had an artist-in-residence program that went nowhere while she was there. I happened to find a movie that would explain it.

Donna gave me all six Inner Sanctum films

Every night I listen to one, if not two, radio mysteries (Old Time Radio) and since October have heard most of the New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and quite a number of episodes from The Shadow with Orson Welles, but I've been waiting to make it The CBS Radio Mystery Theater. I have not heard that many of the Inner Sanctum radio shows, on which the CBS Mystery Theater was based.

Donna gave me a copy of the Son of Dracula, with Lon Chaney, for Christmas, but Chaney made six films based on the Inner Sanctum radio show and used the Glamour model (pin-up) actresses of Universal, including Evelyn Ankers (pearl of Death,Voice of Terror), Patricia Morrison (Dressed to Kill), Ramsey Ames (The Mummy's Ghost) and Anne Gwynn (House of Dracula).
I like Chaney in the role, without make up.
The writing is superb and from William Scott Darling!

I told Donna that I have waited since 1972-73, 75 at the nearest, to see the films and gave her largest than you.
I watched the films Calling Dr. Death and Weird Woman before listening to the radio version of Till Death Do Us Part, which advertises that Boris Karloff would be included in the cast of next week's show.
