New Year's Eve We hadn't been to a movie in a while

The New Years Eve events in Downtown Boston were cancelled due to subzero temperatures but we were still right there on The Common to go to a movie.

The Bunker Hill Monument

Friday we visited the Bunker Hill Monument by chance. I had never been to the top of the hill or the bottom of the monument, which I can see from our apartment in Cambridge. I can see the Mystic River Bridge and the Prudential, along with the skyline in between (Museum of Science, Boston Garden sign).

We picked out a Christmas present that we had seen on Black Friday for her at Macy's yesterday.
