Dear Mellissa,
I told Kat that I was there on the wrong night, but I was there the following night to make it five poetry readings in two weeks, all during a period where I had to reintroduce myself to the Boston poets that knew Jack Powers well. I only have so much time before having to be at the gallery tonight, which will make six readings in two weeks.
Can you make it? Please, come by the gallery tonight- I have tickets and I'd like to ask you if you'll go to the Led Zeppelin tommorow. It's John Bonham's son, Jason. I didn't see the first Plant tour, but there's plenty of time to tell you about the musicians I've seen; I'm sorry to be in a hurry, but the concert is tommorow night-nothing I can do.
